Introducing Spring Summer 2010
Welcome to the launch of our new Spring 10 collections. Last year was a great year for us and we hope to get you even more excited with some fantastic new product developments in 2010.

Duchamp has developed from an accessory brand to a menswear magnum opus in a relatively short space of time. The diversification quotient increased further as autumn saw tailoring and smart separates introduced. The product was marvellous and surprising, commanding the deft touch and execution of a house producing tailoring for donkey’s years. Spurred by this accomplishment, for spring the design team tackle man’s whole weekend wardrobe. Duchamp is now keeping it sharp and lively throughout your leisure time.
SHIRTS

A dynamic range of simple open neck shirts arrive for summer inspired by the brooding screen persona of Ray Winstone in Sexy Beast. The shirts are evocative of the crisp luxury affairs of a refined yet savvy chap like Gal favours. A new confidence is heralded with these pieces. The signature double cuff and peacock palette are put on hold in favour of a subtle approach in lightly grained Italian cotton. The fit has been narrowed and tweaked while the placket removed to deliver a more contemporary look. Duchamp DNA is still evident however in the multi stripe top and cuff buttons also with a lick of collar lining in vibrant piping. The spread collars are smaller than previous fair, and sit perfectly without a tie and under a smart sports jacket or finer gauge knitwear. For summer smart casual consider white, navy, pink and very much on trend turquoise options. Work with a dark blue jean for classic approach.

JEANS
Duchamp enters the denim arena adding a new facet to its wardrobe development program. Serious denim jeans with navy topstitching have a relaxed western style fit. An even, dark luxury denim finish. Nothing trendy Wendy or overtly cowboy, but a flavour of superior European sartorial maturity. For the adventurous among you, Duchamp also devised a range of primary red, turquoise and lilac cotton pants. These work in tandem with the Winston shirt line, and the summer collection of sports jackets.

TAILORING
Duchamp have embraced the realm separates and made it their own. Following winter’s success the jacket collection has expanded to include premium lightweight tweeds with window pane checks, silk and linen and linen checks in defined brights. The tweedy colour balance and finish has something of relaxed Neapolitan tailoring about it. Flourishes such as the butterfly insignia and contrast felting under the collar provide the houses distinct points of difference. The bright linen and silk versions work well with denim or mixed and matched with the coloured five pocket pants. Fine thicken stripe trousers slot in these ensembles with ease and afford new Rivera stances.

RAZAMATAZZ
For special occasions the house indulges its stalwart fans of exuberance .The jacquard spotted fabrics define Duchamp at its vivacious best. Set on black the multi spot effect is a pattern exclusively woven for the brand in Italian mills. This gear is perfect for evening affairs, the races or even weddings if you’re feeling bold.

The coup of the season is the way Duchamp has demystified weekend dressing. A whole roster of combinations is yielded by this expansion, with leisure time suave being the result.
