INTRODUCING NEW JACKETS
I am really excited to be introducing our first ever jacket range. It has taken over a year to develop this Autumn Winter 09 collection which is exclusively available in our Retail stores. The main reason this new product area has been explored, is due to customer feedback from within our own stores and from many of our wholesale clients. I would like to know what you the customer thinks of these new additions to the Duchamp range, so any feedback is always appreciated.
Our aim for this Autumn Winter 09 collection is to give our customers a great Jacket to co-ordinate with their Duchamp Shirts and Ties. We are offering three blocks all in a half canvas construction made in Portugal; the Berkeley a tailored 3 button which has some great details including slanted pockets and a very traditional English tailored fit. The Belgravia a two button comfortable, less tailored fit available in all velvet jackets. Finally, the Grosvenor a tailored two button available in the Rainbow stripe jacket, an exclusive fabric developed here in England.
Our fabrics are the best you can buy and I have worked with the leading luxury British and Italian mills. I wanted to be able to see the same kind of design and colour development that we currently have in our shirt and tie collections. I can assure you by Autumn winter 10 you will see our Duchamp handwriting all over the tailoring collection.
I did not want to start tailoring without the right design aspect. We have one of the best Menswear Designers in London working for us. Over the next few seasons we will be preparing to add a complete Menswear collection to our brand. Including Suits, formal trousers and Outerwear which will launch this November.
