Espèrance
ESPÈRANCE was created to reflect the work of Dutch artist Erwin Olaf who uses a unique mix of photojournalism and studio photography.
In Olaf’s most evocative portraits subjects stand together, their expressions reveal a desire to touch, yet his composition evokes a powerful sense of distance. A further sense of narrative is expressed in his approach to colour which uniquely binds series of his work together.
